Stroller is purchased (along with a stroller bag, popsicle maker & xtra sticks, a folding stepstool, wide baby gate with, well, gate, and a faucet thingee for the tub). AND the storm windows are in. Yea for us.
I ended up with the very first stroller that I looked at and then dismissed b/c it doesn't recline. [Sigh] I could have saved myself loads of time and agony if I just would have listened to my instincts. With everything we got at Amazon (excluding the new gate from Baby Category), we still spent less than either of the Baby Planet strollers would have been. I feel good about that, and since the only feature I'm missing on the new stroller is the recline (which I *know* that Monkey doesn't use anyway!)-- so I'm going to be happy with this one AND the price I paid, for a long time.
Just need to get on the chest freezer research and we'll be in good shape. We have about a 4 ft space for it, so we can't get a huge one, but it will most certainly be bigger than what we have!
BUT before all that-- since it's my last evening until Redbeard goes back to work (he had a surprising 2 extra days off- hence my absence!)-- I'm fantasizing about a wonderfully hot steamy shower. I'm outtie!
