Just bad combinations...

You know the way that paisley and polka dots go together... yeah, well.

Monkey: tired AND hungry (b/c he threw all his homemade mac & cheese on the floor and then wouldn't sleep due to being hungry)

Me: Irritated w/ Monkey (despite my resolutions- mea culpa), irritated w/ Redbeard b/c he could hardly be bothered to do anything, and disappointed in the sloppy joes, not b/c of the recipe, but b/c the turkey tasted just OFF in it and the flavor was blecchh. I like ground turkey which is what we almost always use instead of beef now, but unh-unh!!

Redbeard: Dog-tired b/c of late partying & early rising, disappointed b/c didn't even see any animals today- and his hunters have yet to get any, and just sick of this guiding thing with two more days to go.

So, our one night that we had an evening together and I couldn't wait for it to end. My shoulders feel like metal cable and I would desperately love a drink.

As an alternative, I think I'll play some computer games and put my feet up. And then I'll hit the sack to try for a better attitude tomorrow. At least we don't have the windstorm on tonight. I kept waking up last night, praying that the willow in our neighbor's yard wouldn't fall on us.

My sis is coming over tomorrow though-- and that will be nice. Sleep tight, all.
